#3 - ISB MS MUN CONFERENCE Hosted @ ISB on Friday, March 31st & Saturday, April 1st

Dear MUN Coaches & Advisors,

We have finished compiling the committee lists and country allocations. We had three primary priorities in compiling these lists - (1) to ensure that each school was represented in each committee, (2) that there was a balance of delegates from each school in each committee, and (3) that the most influential/impacted countries were dispersed across schools. Our hope is that by getting this out to you now, your students can begin to do some preliminary research on their respective countries and topics.

The one exception to this was UNEP, which is our double delegation committee. About half of ISB’s delegates preferred to be in a partnership delegation, and while this specific committee will be larger (and have a higher proportion of ISB students) than the others, it created more parity in the other committees, and we feel as though it will be a good entry point for many first-time MUNers.

You may also notice that some of the committees have changed. In consultation with our high schoolers, we determined that the changes were more in line with a middle school MUN experience. We were also unable to fully honor student preferences. Given our other priorities, this was a compromise we felt was important. Thank you for your understanding and flexibility!
