Dear MUN Coaches & Advisors,
Firstly, a big thank you to those of you who have offered suggestions or feedback on the chair reports. We are trying to ensure that they are addressed and updated as we get them. Mostly, the feedback has been around typos, so none of the content has changed, but the most up-to-date chair reports are linked to the Country and Committee Allocation Form or can be found in this folder. I realize that the original PDF files that I shared are no longer accessible, and I apologize for that. When I made changes, I had to link new files. Please use the links above to access the updated chair reports.
We’ve had a few schools contact us about parent access to the conference, so we also wanted to provide a quick update on parents who want to attend the conference. We are happy to welcome parents to ISB with the following considerations:
Parents are welcome to join the opening and closing ceremonies. However, committee sessions will not be accessible due to space limitations.
Meals for students and coaches are catered and included in the conference fee. There will be limited access to food and beverages for parents.
Important Updates/Deadlines
Parent Attendance: If you have parents of delegates who would like to attend, please share this form with them. Please remind any parents that they will need to leave their ID with security at the entrance of school (next to the Chevron Theater). If you would like, you can share this message from the planning committee.
Reminders
Chair Reports: Please refer to the attached chair reports. They can also be located in this folder and linked on the Country and Committee Allocation Form.
Attire: Professional business attire will be expected of all delegates during the conference. We know that this can sometimes take some organization for Middle School students.
Position Papers: Hopefully, your students have had a chance to begin their Position Papers. These will be shared in the form of a Speaker’s List by each delegation. These should be 90 seconds long.
Conference Fees: Conference fees (1,500 THB per delegate) were due on Friday, March 10th. If you have not paid, please do so as soon as possible.
